Our story…

“You can till up as much as you want, we are really good at growing grass and can put it all back.”

My name is Alanna Reisinger, and in January of 2024, I presented this flower farming idea to my husband after we had grown several varieties of vegetables and flowers last season and he said that quote to me. At that point, I dove into every aspect of flower farming and production I could get my hands on from seasonal crop planning, to growing, to harvest, to business and production. In a very short time, and after learning to use the tiller, we have created a growing space of 20+ beds, all with a purpose.

My sweet family has jumped into this vision with all hands on deck, from digging to learning, to planting, harvesting, watering, and helping to bring our flowers to our community. My biggest rewards this far have been the massive amount of information and learning I have gained (we consider ourselves lifelong learners around here), being able to show my oldest daughter that we are strong and can try anything we put our mind to, and teaching my young boys about the soil and growing.

Bringing local flowers to our community is important to me because local agriculture is important. We grow our flowers and use sustainable methods to keep our footprint small, but to make our impression big. Our flowers do not go through importation, and therefore don’t get sprayed with loads of chemicals. They are always safe to have in your home, on your table, and to sniff.
